Originally from New Jersey, Michael’s career journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in International Political Economics from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where he also minored in philosophy. Before transitioning to law, he spent nearly a decade working in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes Compliance at various financial institutions, developing a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to justice that he now brings to his legal practice.
While working full-time, Michael attended Florida International University College of Law part-time, excelling academically and earning multiple Dean’s List recognitions. He graduated Cum Laude in 2024 and was honored with the Excellence in Service Award as the top student attorney in FIU’s Business Innovation and Technology Clinic.
At Attorneys Jo Ann Hoffman & Associates, Michael dedicates his practice to representing injured workers under the Defense Base Act.
